Value-added Vegetables

At GreenMount Foods we specialise in value-added vegetables. From our purpose built plant we prepare and process a wide range of ready to use vegetable products that save you time and labour, and ensure reliable quality, safety and cost.

Sautéed vegetables

We source New Zealand grown vegetables that are peeled, prepared, chopped and sautéed in our special Japanese Kajiwara sauté pans. We sauté with butter, oil, or your choice of blend for specific flavour requirements and can reduce to specific brix requirements.

Acetified vegetables

We prepare pickles whole, diced or sliced from locally produced crops and selected international suppliers.

We produce pickled:

 

  • Gherkins
  • Capsicums / bell peppers
  • Cauliflower
  • Green tomatoes
  • Carrots
  • Cucumber

Our Range Includes:

Sauteed onion – 50% 4mm slice
Sauteed onion – 70% 6mm dice

Blanched kumara (sweet potato) – diced
