GreenMount Foods are made in New Zealand from high quality natural raw materials, processed in specialist facilities under stringent international quality controls. Our products are fully traceable from field to finished product, and our independently audited sites are run by some of the best qualified food technologists in the country.
Our facilities are independently audited by the New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries and we have approved food safety and risk management programmes in place. These programmes are Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) based quality systems that ensure all manufacturing practices are off the highest standard. Every facet of our operation complies with these quality systems, from receiving raw materials, processing, maintenance, cleaning and training, to allergen management and pest control.
All our products are meticulously inspected and passed through metal detectors and/or food grade x-ray machines to ensure no detectable foreign material leaves our premises. Our routine chemical and microbiological testing is carried out by independent audited laboratories that meet recognised international standards.
We regularly review and improve our systems and procedures to ensure we are at the leading edge of industry developments. Local and global clients audit us regularly and our record is excellent.

All our products are fully traceable from raw material to end product. Our vegetable growers are New Zealand GAP or Growsafe certified and records of all agricultural and horticultural inputs used in growing our vegetable crops are independently audited for food safety compliance.
